S/he Posted What!? Creating Practical, Defensible Social Media Policies
Your nonprofit’s employees and volunteers use social media for both personal and work-related purposes. And although most of their ‘likes’ and comments bring greater awareness of your mission, the occasional post, Tweet or rant may bring attention you don’t want and may not be prepared to handle. Attend this workshop to learn about exposures related to the National Labor Relations Act, rules pertaining to off-duty conduct, privacy/defamation risk, discrimination, and state laws that protect employee privacy.
