With a near 20-year career in Social Services, Fredreka Levingston LeVias has experience serving at multiple agency levels spanning front line direct care to program and agency level administration. Fredreka’s work has involved designing family self-sufficiency programming, designing and implementing process improvement projects, child welfare regulatory compliance, leading out on the design and implementation of HIPAA Privacy and Security programming, and Enterprise Risk Management structure implementation. In all capacities, Fredreka’s mission has centered on ‘safe kids’.
Ms. LeVias currently serves as the Regional Director of Child and Club Safety for the Southwest Region of Boys and Girls Clubs of America. She has earned both Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Social Work. She is also currently pursuing a doctorate degree at the University of Houston’s Graduate College of Social Work. Her current research interests include Grounded Theory method and, topically, judgment, assessment, and decision making concerning the licensing process of foster parents.
