James “J.D.” Murdock II, is a Partner in the Denver office of Taylor|Anderson, LLP. His national trial practice focuses on complex litigation and the defense of wrongful death and catastrophic injury cases involving products liability, fire loss litigation, automobile liability, medical malpractice, and premises liability claims. He has successfully represented clients in high exposure cases in state and federal courts in Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Kansas, Louisiana, North Carolina, Oregon, and Pennsylvania, as well as in arbitrations, appellate court proceedings, and administrative law hearings.
In addition to trying cases in numerous jurisdictions, venues, and forums throughout the country, he frequently serves as monitoring counsel for excess carriers. J.D. attended the University of Virginia for his undergraduate studies and obtained his Juris Doctor from Rutgers University. He is licensed to practice in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, and Montana.
